Two creative writing workshops were conducted by Sue Welfare in March, 2013. One at Wisbech Museum, and one at March Museum. Members of the public were invited to sign up for a full day of working on all aspects of creative writing – using the hare and the Fens as a starting point, naturally!
Many biscuits and cups of tea were consumed as participants concentrated on honing their prose. Extracts will be used to create a central visual display of a ‘reed bed of words’. We were also lucky enough to be allowed to record some of the participants reading their work, and this will be developed into a soundscape for the exhibition.
