Husk of Hares at March Museum 27 July – 28 September

As you can see from these images, A Husk of Hares looks very different in March Museum than it did at Wisbech. For March we decided to integrate the works more fully into the museum itself, which has required leaving out some of the reed beds and Roger’s largest panoramas. Sadly, there is no room, either. for John’s beautiful Hare, after Chardin painting. Nonetheless, he has managed to arrange all the smaller paintings into two vitrines, alongside the contents of the ‘curiosity cabinet’, so that they have become artefacts as well as art works.
